Giving kids a chance to thrive

Our mission drives everything we do. At Laura's Kids Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to overcome obstacles, discover their potential, and build a bright future. Through dedicated support, mentorship, and community partnership, we transform challenges into stepping stones toward success.

What We Do

Laura's Kids Foundation is a nonprofit organization that offers comprehensive support and mentorship to children in need, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their dreams. We work directly with children and families facing various difficulties, providing the resources, guidance, and encouragement necessary for positive transformation.

Direct Support

Providing immediate assistance to children and families facing crisis situations, ensuring basic needs are met while building toward long-term stability and success.

Mentorship Programs

Connecting children with caring adult mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling throughout their developmental journey.

Educational Support

Offering tutoring, scholarship opportunities, and educational resources to help children excel academically and pursue their educational goals.

Our Impact Stories

Educational Excellence

Through our mentorship programs, children who were struggling academically have improved their grades by an average of two letter grades. We provide one-on-one tutoring, study skills training, and connect families with educational resources.

Building Confidence

Our holistic approach helps children develop self-esteem and leadership skills. Many participants have gone on to become peer mentors themselves, creating a positive cycle of support within their communities.

How We Support Children

01

Assessment & Intake

We carefully evaluate each child's unique situation, challenges, and goals to create a personalized support plan that addresses their specific needs and circumstances.

02

Mentor Matching

Each child is paired with a trained mentor who shares similar interests or experiences, creating meaningful connections that foster trust and personal growth.

03

Ongoing Support

Regular check-ins, activities, and resource provision ensure continuous progress toward established goals while adapting to changing needs and circumstances.

04

Success Celebration

We celebrate milestones and achievements, helping children recognize their progress and building momentum for continued success in all areas of life.

Why Your Support Matters

Creating Lasting Change

When you support Laura's Kids Foundation, you're not just helping a child today – you're investing in their entire future. Our comprehensive approach addresses immediate needs while building the skills, confidence, and support networks that create lasting positive change.

Many of our program participants have gone on to graduate high school, pursue higher education, and become productive members of their communities. Some even return as volunteers, creating a beautiful cycle of giving back that multiplies your impact exponentially.

"The support I received from Laura's Kids Foundation changed my life. My mentor believed in me when I didn't believe in myself, and now I'm in college studying to become a teacher so I can help other kids like me."

– Maria, Program Graduate
